
Dr. Dan Fortino grew up in Hamilton and completed his undergraduate education at McMaster University in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario with Dr. Rachelle Blue!
He went on to obtain his Specialty Degree in Periodontics and a Masters in Science from the Centre for Advanced Dental Education in St Louis, Missouri. After his specialty, he pursued a fellowship in Advanced Surgical and Restorative Oral Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He joined the Department of Periodontics and Implant Center at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a part-time faculty member and is currently on staff in the Graduate Periodontics Department.
He loves the sport of hockey and he is the proud brother of Gold and Silver Medalist Laura Fortino who is playing for the Team Canada Women’s Hockey National Team!
