Dr. Ryan Greenfield
Dr. Ryan Greenfield has worked hard to carry on the values and commitment of his father, Dr. Jeff Greenfield, since joining him at his Simcoe dental practice in 2006. Over the past decade he has built on his father's passion to help every patient maintain their oral health - now and for their lifetime.
Dr. Ryan is a Simcoe native, born and raised. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with honours in Kinesiology. After pursuing his first year of Dental Studies at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, he transferred schools and graduated at UWO with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.An avid learner with a passion for dentistry, Dr. Ryan is an active member of the Haldimand-Norfolk Dental Society and multiple study clubs. He has completed the first two Essentials courses at the Pankey Institute as well as his Diode Laser Training.When he isn't practicing dentistry full-time or hitting the books on new technology and clinical techniques, you can find him competing out on the hockey rink or golf course. Dr. Ryan has been married to his wife Lisa since 2008 and welcomed twin boys, Nathan and Carter, in 2012.
Dr. Jeff Greenfield
Dr. Jeff Greenfield began his dental career in Simcoe in 1968 with Dr. William Burt. Throughout his career as a dentist, Dr. Jeff Greenfield's mission has been to encourage patients to retain their natural teeth for a lifetime by maintaining soft tissue health. His dedication to gum disease therapy and prevention has led to the creation of a dental practice based on care, compassion, and trust.
His patients have enjoyed the experience of a dentist who's invested in their longterm oral health for over four decades.
After graduating UWO with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Dr. Greenfield entered the School of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1968.
Dr. Greenfield boasts a long list of accomplishments in the Dental industry. He's been a clinical instructor at the UWO Dental School, a long-time member of the Toronto Crown and Bridge study club, a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Dental Association, president of the Haldimand-Norfolk Dental Society, and a Life-Member of both the Ontario and Canadian Dental Associations.Today, he serves the community of Simcoe on the Board of Directors of the Norfolk Golf and Country Club and the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation. He also keeps busy as the Co-Chairman of the foundation’s annual golf tournament.
Dr. Greenfield and his wife Patricia have three sons and five grandchildren. He still works as a dentist part-time and continues to provide compassionate care as part of the Greenfield Dental Health Group.
Dr. Rachelle Blue
A beautiful smile can transform a person's face - and their confidence. Dr. Rachelle Blue realized this at a young age and wanted to be a dentist ever since.Her passion for dentistry and oral health has only grown. She's proud to be a part of the compassionate, hard-working team of professionals at Greenfield Dental Health Group.
Dr. Blue is the oldest child of a close-knit family of six growing up in Newmarket, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate studies close by at York University, receiving an Honours degree in Anthropology with a minor in Biology. From there she moved on to Western University's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry where she graduated with distinction in June, 2014.
Born to learn, Dr. Blue continues her dental education with a passion. She expands her dentistry knowledge and expertise through a Spear Study Club membership, Pankey Institute Essentials courses, and Diode Laser Training.
Dr. Blue loves making dentistry fun and comfortable for children. She believes in guiding patients to the best treatment decisions for their needs and takes pride in keeping the smiles of her community beautiful and healthy.
When she's not performing premium dental care, Dr. Blue is getting involved in her new hometown (Simcoe) and community (Norfolk County). One of her hidden talents is her ability to dance and sing. She was the singer in the Schulich Dentistry's band, The Retentive Grooves, and was encouraged to try out for Season 2 of Canadian Idol. But she decided to stay focused on dentistry and keep the singing to the showers instead.
Dr. Dan Fortino
Dr. Dan Fortino grew up in Hamilton and completed his undergraduate education at McMaster University in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario with Dr. Rachelle Blue!
He went on to obtain his Specialty Degree in Periodontics and a Masters in Science from the Centre for Advanced Dental Education in St Louis, Missouri. After his specialty, he pursued a fellowship in Advanced Surgical and Restorative Oral Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He joined the Department of Periodontics and Implant Center at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a part-time faculty member and is currently on staff in the Graduate Periodontics Department. He loves the sport of hockey and he is the proud brother of Gold and Silver Medalist Laura Fortino who is playing for the Team Canada Women’s Hockey National Team!
Dr. Seema Alnajar
Dr. Seema Alnajar grew up in Ancaster and received her Honours degree in Biochemistry from McMaster University. After completing her undergraduate studies, she spent a year in a research lab before pursuing dentistry at the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with distinction. While she was a dental student at Western, Dr. Seema participated in several dentistry outreach programs highlighting her deep care of community.
Dr. Seema is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, and especially loves having the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with her patients. As a new associate at Greenfield Dental Health Group, Dr. Seema is determined to make oral health and patient education a priority, motivated to provide patients with comprehensive care and preventive tools by establishing open lines of communication with every patient.Dr. Seema enjoys working with children as well as adults and will be accepting new patients, emergencies and working with our existing patient base for routine care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Seema’s natural element is water. She was a competitive swimmer throughout high school and is proud to have been a part of McMaster’s synchronized swimming team during her undergraduate career. Lately she has taken up more land borne activities such as longboarding and hiking. She is especially excited to explore the beautiful trails and lakes in and around Norfolk County.
